The Rufus Railroad Train Cam Java Plug-in error !
Use controls on right to run train. System will be operable about 5 seconds after page is loaded. Click FAST to increase speed, SLOW to reduce speed. FWD and REV control direction. Locomotive B is pulling the yellow tank car and is usually parked on the inner loop. Locomotive A is pulling the white box car and is usually parked on the outer loop. To avoid possible loss of train power, keep speed up to at least 3 going through switches. Operate switches only when train is well clear of the switch.
Vernon internet DCC model RR control.
This is the ultimate Model Railroad control system and I can build your custom layout ! Run your railroad from your Ipad or call a friend anywhere in the world and let that person operate ! System can run two DCC N scale locomotives and up to four turnouts. Call (702) 420-6831 or click this text to email !
This is, I believe, the first internet controllable DCC, N Scale model RR. Picture below is an approximate diagram of the layout. When the system is on the webcam and control panel to the right will appear. DCC allows independant control of the speed and direction of multiple locomotives on the same track !

Electronics consists of an 9S12C128 processor on a Technological Arts NanoCore12MAXC128S DIP module. This module is installed in a board of my design that has several logic level inputs, eight relay drivers, an LCD display interface, and an H bridge to provide power/data packets to the track. This board communicates via RS232 to a Netburner MOD 5270 ethernet capable module to provide internet connectivity. A browser is the human machine interface. The HS12 programming is in assembly language while the Netburner is programed in C.

I will note that railroads (full sized) offer a potential solution to our energy problems. A freight train gets about 500 ton miles per gallon and a passenger train can get 1000 passenger miles per gallon. Given electrified rail you can get transportation energy from any source, there is no need to rely on liquid fuel.
